Our family crew
Planting for dry Okanagan summers since 2011
Six people, native plants, and gardens that look good through August.
How we started
Plants that cope with dry summers
Fernbrook Landscapes is a family crew of six who plant Okanagan natives because they hold up in a hot, dry season on very little water. Every bed starts with one question: will it still look good in the heat, with the water we can realistically give it?
We plant for the dry Okanagan summer, not the brochure photo.

Our working principles
Three habits behind every garden we build
From the first site visit to the last plant, the crew works the same way on every yard.
How we work
Native first
Plants picked for your yard's sun, soil and slope, so the beds still look good in August without a sprinkler running all day.
Family crew
The same people walk your site, draw the design and put in the plants, so you deal with one crew from start to finish.
Plan before we dig
You see the drawn plan and approve it first, so nothing goes in the ground that you haven't signed off on.
